VICAT/HDT Tester —The tester is used to determine the Heat Deflection Temperature or the Vicat Softening Point. The bath temperature is regulated by a built-in thermostat. The thermostat provides a constant temperature increase with a gradient corresponding to the standards. Each measuring head is equipped with a digital displacement sensor. The sensors measure the depth of indentation of the Vic needle into the sample or deflection of the HDT sample.

Depending on the need, a device with a different number of measuring stations from 2 to 6 is available.

Models can be vertical and desktop.
