VICAT/HDT Tester with Computer Control
VICAT/HDT Tester with Computer Control: This device is specifically designed to determine the Vicat softening temperature (VICAT) of thermoplastics and the heat deflection temperature (HDT) of fiber-reinforced and thermosetting plastics, as well as thermoplastics and hard rubbers. The bath temperature is regulated by a built-in thermostat, ensuring a consistent temperature increase at a gradient that meets standard requirements. Each measuring head is equipped with a digital displacement sensor that accurately measures the depth of the Vicat needle indentation into the sample or the HDT sample deflection.
VICAT/HDT Testers with computer control are ideal for standard research during incoming inspections, production control, and scientific research. These devices are available with varying numbers of measuring stations, ranging from 2 to 6, depending on specific needs.
